RBI Grade B 2019 Phase 2  (Descriptive English)

The English paper of RBI Grade B Officer Phase 2 was a descriptive one, where candidates were required to write an  essay  and a precis, and also solve a comprehension question. The essay, the precis, and the Reading Comprehension carried 30 marks each. 

Essay Writing: 5 topics of the essay were given, out of which the test-takers had to attempt one. 

The essay had to be written within 300 words. 

The essay topics were: 

1. Higher Education 

2. Stress among Youth 

3. NPFC Loan Collection Issues 

4. Democracy and Importance of Vote 

5. Scope of 5G in India 

Precis writing: 

The precis was based on the topic of ‘Capital and Current Account Convertibility’. 

Comprehension: 

The comprehension was based on the theme of IMF and its functionality and students had to answer questions asked from the passage based on the above topic.
